"We pledge to invest in mercy, love and kindness,
To achieve mercy; we must be empathetic,
To achieve love; we must be non-violent,
To achieve kindness; we must be compassionate."
Universal Sentient Rights
Iania Hari wanted to shout for help, but no one in their right mind would help her. She had committed - MURDER - the unthinkable crime that had been eradicated for centuries. When UE officers announced in their crisp, monotone voices that she violated the Universal Sentient Rights and committed a violent crime, she refused to believe them. And when they read to her the undeniable evidence, she had no choice but to follow the officers. She would need the help of Gracen, her court consultant, to present her case and prove her innocence to the jury of the world. Can she trust Gracen to convince the jury that she's not a murderer?

CE45 - the cosmic explosion in 2045 - had pushed Earth to the brink of extinction until wealthy corporations formed the Unified Earth (UE) Committee and created artificial planetary shield and invented cydroids prolonging human survival on a dying planet. Societies were divided into two habitable areas - rich Northerners in the Arctic regions and ill-fated Southerners in the overpopulated continent of Antarctica. Can the two societies embrace the Universal Sentient Rights again, work together and save the planet?
