"We pledge to invest in mercy, love and kindness,
To achieve mercy; we must be empathetic,
To achieve love; we must be non-violent,
To achieve kindness; we must be compassionate."
Universal Sentient Rights
Iania Hari wanted to shout for help, but no one in their right mind would help her. She had committed an unthinkable crime. When the Unified Earth (UE) officers came to arrest her and announced in their monotone voices that she had violated the Universal Sentient Rights, she couldn't believe it. She was not a cruel or violent person. But they had irrefutable evidence and so, she had no choice but to follow them. Could she trust her court consultant to prove her innocence to the juries of the world?
The year was 2310. CE45 - the cosmic explosion of 2045 - had pushed Earth to the brink of extinction. Two habitable areas on the planet divided the populations into the elite rich Northerners of the Arctic while the others crammed into an overcrowded continent of Antarctica. Wealthy corporations saved the planet after they created the artificial planetary shield, invented cydroids and formed the UE Committee. Could Iania face the two societies and convince them to vote her 'not guilty'? In her fight for freedom, could she also free the society from the supreme rule of the Committee?
